8. Further Information

1. Scope

This Policy explains to you the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies by TransTech Group, Inc. and all its Affiliates (here referred to as “TransTech”). This Policy is in accordance with the requirements imposed by both the EU and UK ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (together the “GDPR”), and all other applicable law including the US CAN-SPAM Act and applicable state privacy laws. TransTech grows through strategic acquisition. This Policy applies to transtechgroup.com and all websites of TransTech’s subsidiaries and portfolio companies. Websites of newly acquired companies will be updated to reflect this Policy within 90 days of an acquisition closing.

2. What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer or mobile device that contains data related to a website

you visit. Cookies have several uses. They are used to ensure that a website functions properly as you might expect it to. Cookies also allow websites to ‘remember’ your browsing habits or preferences over a period of time.

Cookies may be set by TransTech as the website operator directly (“first-party cookies”) or in some cases, by another third-party service provider (“third-party cookies”). In the latter scenario, cookies are routinely deployed for several purposes including social media, advertising or analytics. TransTech itself will only be able to directly recognize and read the information contained on first-party cookies.

3. Other Tracking Technologies

There are other technologies which we deploy which track behaviour on our website. ‘Tracker Pixels’ are a means of allowing us to check whether you have viewed our content. These “pixels” are essentially tiny, invisible images on our web pages that, once loaded, will communicate your interaction with our content.

This allows TransTech and our partners to gauge the validity of material being presented to you. We have programmed a tracking pixel that lasts for the duration of a visit. This pixel records how a visitor got to the site and this data is submitted in the site contact form. In addition to pixel tags, we may use local storage, session storage, and embedded third-party scripts (SDKs) that perform similar tracking functions. All such technologies are governed by this Policy.

4. Third Parties

We make use of third-party technologies across our site. These technologies help us to understand how you use the site and the ways in which we can improve your user experience. They may track certain information such as the pages you visit across our site as well as how long your visit lasts. We also use social media plugins on this site that allow you to view videos and otherwise interact with certain content. Our current primary third-party technology partners include: HubSpot (CRM and marketing automation), Cvent (event management), Apollo.io (B2B sales intelligence), LinkedIn (professional network advertising and analytics), Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (Facebook/Instagram advertising), Twitter/X (advertising), YouTube (embedded video), and Cloudflare (security and performance). A full breakdown appears in Section 7 below.

As TransTech adds to its technology stack or acquires new companies, new third-party vendors may be introduced. We review and update our third-party disclosures at least annually.
