Building a culture of Continuous Improvement begins with developing leaders. That's why The TransTech Group has established a Continuous Improvement Leader at each operating company and launched its inaugural Continuous Improvement Leader Development Program.
The program brings together Continuous Improvement Leaders from across the organization to build a common approach to problem solving, share best practices, and strengthen Operational Excellence throughout The TransTech Group.
The inaugural program combined an intensive one-day classroom training session with multiple Gemba walks, followed by two days of hands-on application in a live manufacturing environment. Working alongside Operations, Engineering, and Production teams, participants applied Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles to evaluate production flow, work area layouts, and future-state opportunities.
The event resulted in a future-state facility concept designed to optimize manufacturing space while maintaining the flexibility needed to support future growth, adapt to changing customer needs, and strengthen Operational Excellence.
Developing Continuous Improvement Leaders across The TransTech Group is an investment in our future. By creating a network of local leaders who can share ideas, lead improvement initiatives, and support their teams, we are strengthening collaboration across our operating companies while building a culture of continuous learning and Continuous Improvement.
This program represents an important step in The TransTech Group's commitment to Operational Excellence. As our Continuous Improvement Leader network continues to grow, so will our ability to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and the value we provide to our customers.
